There you’ll find a range of trees, flowers, and plants, such as orchids and bromeliads. Overall, the garden consists of 6,000 different species of plants and 20 habitats. 4.    Visit the Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium

Visit the Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, which features over 100 species of marine animals found off the coast of Florida, including manatee, jellyfish, and rays. Be sure to check out the shark feeding demonstration while you’re there. The aquarium also hosts numerous educational programs for kids to help them learn about marine life.

5.    Hike the Trails at Nathan Benderson Park

If you enjoy trekking outdoors, then pay a visit to Nathan Benderson Park. The park covers an area of 600 acres and features a 400-acre lake. You can do more than just hike here, as you’ll find kayaks and paddleboats available for visitors. The park also hosts regatta competitions and offers state-of-the-art rowing facilities. For anyone seeking adventure and water sports, Nathan Benderson Park is a must when in Sarasota.
